The next generation Suzuki Swift will be developed on a completely new platform. The current model of this hatchback has been developed on the HEARTECT platform and the Baleno and DZire are also based on it, a

Now the new platform will have stronger steel as well as more emphasis on safety features. A lot of cosmetic changes can be seen in the upcoming Swift, which will make it a hatchback with a better look and design.

Talking about the possible features of the next-gen Maruti Swift, it will also get a lot of safety features along with standard features like wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play support along with standard features like connected car technology. On the other hand, in terms of engine and power, it will get a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.2 liter petrol engine equipped with mild hybrid system.
The emphasis will be on making the next generation Swift more fuel efficient. There is also a possibility that the Swift may also come with a CNG model.
