The sales of SUVs in India have grown tremendously over the years. Thus, when there is demand, the supply is also increasing at the same rate. In India, many other companies including Tata Motors, Kia Motors, Mahindra, Hyundai Motors and MG Motor as well as Jeep have introduced their products in the midsize SUV segment and they are also selling well.
Now when it comes to the best selling midsize SUV, the recently launched Kia Carens has beaten Mahindra’s swanky SUV XUV700. It is followed by midside SUVs like Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, MG Hector and Jeep Compass. Let us tell you how many units of which midsize SUV have been sold in India?

Looking at the Mid-Size SUV Sales Report of March 2022, the Kia Cars is the best selling car in this segment with a total sales of 7,008 units and 37% monthly growth. It is followed by Mahindra XUV700, which has sold a total of 6040 units. In March 2022, sales of XUV700 have seen a growth of about 46 percent as compared to February 2022. Hyundai Alcazar is at the third position in the list of best selling midsize SUVs, with a total of 2502 units sold. Alcazar’s sales have seen a decline.
