Yash-headlined period action thriller K.G.F: Chapter 2 continues to impress at the box office after a housefull opening. Even the Hindi version of the film has set the cash registers ringing, with the film entering Rs 100 crore in just three days. The weekend is further helping the Prasanth Neel go from strength to strength.
In India, as per Andhra Box Office, the film has collected Rs 162 crore gross (as opposed to net, which is the actual earning for the studio excluding taxes and theatres’ share) in three days. And that is just in Hindi belt alone.
The film is not just doing great business in India, but has managed to make noise in the USA as well. It collected over one million dollars on Saturday in the United States as per trade analyst Ramesh Bala. He added that the Prasanth Neel directorial is now approaching $4 million in the country. Bala wrote in a tweet, “Huge Saturday for #KGFChapter2 in USA. $1 Million for the day alone.. 🔥Racing towards $4 Million.”
KGF: Chapter 2 follows the story of Yash’s Rocky after he takes over the Kolar Gold Fields. Going by the post-credits scene of KGF: Chapter 2, the third part is in the works. Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon play lead roles, while Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken and Saran are seen in supporting roles.Live TV
