Filmmaker Karan Johar is all hearts for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who have tied the nuptial knot today. Minutes after Alia shared the first pictures with Ranbir as man and wife, Karan Johar, too, took to Instagram to share the same pictures along with a heartfelt note. “It’s days like this that we live for …where there is the most beautiful blend of family, love and absolute emotion….. overwhelmed and so full of love in my heart… my darling @aliaabhatt this is such a beautiful life step and my love and blessings go with you everywhere … Ranbir ! Sharing the pics, Alia had earlier penned a heartfelt note thanking family and friends who witnessed her union with Ranbir. “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia,” she wrote.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor found love on the sets of Brahmastra, their first film together. They began dating in the year 2017 and made their first public appearance together as a couple at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception in Mumbai. Their film Brahmastra is set to release on September 9. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film has been produced by Karan Johar.
