"Kapoor Saab, your wish is fulfilled": Mom Neetu poses with Ranbir post wedding with Alia Bhatt

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are now officially married. The couple tied the knot in the presence of family and friends in an intimate ceremony at Ranbir’s bungalow Vastu. After concluding the festivities, close ones of the couple are now celebrating their union with pics and heartfelt notes. Amid this, the best wish post from Ranbir Kapoor’s mother and veteran actor Neetu Kapoor. Sharing a heartwarming picture with the groom and dedicated to her late husband Rishi Kapoor. “This is dedicated to kapoor Saab ❤️ your wish has been fulfilled,” she wrote in the caption. In the snap, Ranbir and Neetu are looking super happy as they pose for the camera, clad in traditional attire.

Neetu Kapoor often takes a walk down memory lane and shares picture with late husband Rishi Kapoor. Just a day before the big wedding, Neetu had shared a picture from the archives. The throwback picture was Neetu and Rishi’s engagement. Sharing the picture, she had written, “Fond memories of baisakhi day 😍 as we got engaged 43 years back on 13th April 1979”.

For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor had died on  April 30, 2020. His last film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ was released earlier this month on Amazon Prime Video. 

Talking about Ranbir Kapoor’ wedding, the actor tied the knot with ladylove after dating for five years. Neetu had recently called her daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt “best” in front of the media. The couple began their fairytale romance on the sets of Brahmastra. They dated for almost five years before sealing the deal. Alia had mentioned earlier in an interview that she is already married to RK in her head. Well, now she is actually married to him and we cannot stop gushing over the couple. Sharing the first picture, Alia said, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.
