Kangana Ranaut has engaged the audience with her performance in the ‘Dhaakad’ teaser.
Many people praised her for acting in the role of a brutal killer. After the teaser dropped on social media, one social media user even found her better than Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde.
Responding to the special praise, Kangana took to her Instagram story and wrote, “#dhaakad was right after #thalaivii 20kgs weight wasn’t my only challenge my body was damaged in many ways _today to be called better than the best action star in the world is a big compliment.” Along with a still from the movie Thalaivii.
The actress took her Instagram on Tuesday, and share a teaser of the film. The teaser starts with her in a dark room as she gets a call from a handler, from there the action of her character Agent Agni starts as she beats up bad guys.
Sharing the teaser, she wrote, “Action. Style. Thrill. All in one, Agent Agni is here!! Movie releasing on 20th May.” The film was earlier slated to release on May 27.
The film also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta and is directed by Razneesh Ghai and produced by Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklai. It is presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd in association with Kamal Mukut, Sohel Maklai Productions, and Asylum films. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on May 20.
On the work front, Kangana is working on ‘Manikarnika 2’, ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, ‘Tejas’, ‘Sita’, and ‘Emergency’ – a film based on former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
Currently, the actress is hosting a reality show ‘Lock Upp’ on ALTBalaji and MX Player.
She was last seen in the Tollywood movie, ‘Thalaivii’ She played the role of late Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa.
