HPCL recruitment: Apply for 186 posts at hindustanpetroleum.com

The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is inviting online applications for the appointment on 186 vacancies in its Visakhapatnam refinery. Positions advertised include for technicians, lab analysts and safety inspectors among others.

Willing candidates can go to the official website of HPCL — hindustanpetroleum.com — to apply.  

There are 94 vacancies for the position of Operations Technicians, 18 for Boiler Technicians, 18 for Junior Fire and Safety Inspectors, 16 for Lab Analysts, 17 for Maintenance Technicians (Electrical), 14 for Maintenance Technicians (Mechanical), and 9 for Maintenance Technicians (Instrumentation).

All the positions have different qualification requirements with the Minimum Educational qualification that the candidates should have passed qualifying examinations in relevant disciplines through full-time regular courses recognized by the respective State Board or applicable competent authority.

Candidates possessing part-time or distance courses will not be entertained.

“Except Junior Fire and Safety Inspector positions, the Candidates (belonging to General, EWS and OBC-NC category) should have secured minimum 60 per cent (aggregate in all semesters/years) marks in qualifying diploma / Degree examinations, relaxed to 50 per cent (aggregate in all semesters/years) marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates,” reads the official note.

Also, the candidates should be minimum 18 years old and less than 25 years old (as of April 1, 2022).

The portal for online applications has started taking accepting applications on April 22, 2022, and the last date to apply is May 21, 2022.

The positions will be based in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited Visakh Refinery in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh.

The remuneration for all the vacant positions will be minimum of Rs 55,000 per month on Cost to Company Basis (Pay Scale Rs 26,000 to Rs 76,000).

CTC includes VDA, HRA, Cafeteria Allowance, Post-Retirement benefits (PF, Gratuity and Superannuation Benefits) etc.

Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 9 months. Upon successful completion of the Probation period, they will be considered for confirmation subject to satisfactory performance during the probation period. The confirmation in service would also be subject to verification of antecedents and verification of caste status certificate wherever applicable.

Candidates for unreserved, other backward class and economically weaker sections will have to pay Rs 590 excluding gateway charges and GST to apply for the above positions. SC/ST and PWD students are exempted from the application fee.
