Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans have won against
Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs in the 24th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022.
When the two entered the game, they both won three out of their clashes and RR was roaring on the top of the table with the highest Run Rate. It didn’t take Pandya long to turn the table around and reach the zenith with the win.
GT is currently the only team that has won four games in the tournament. With 8 points, the team now sits on the top with Kolkata Knight Riders following them with 6 points.
RR has dropped to the third spot after losing the game to GT by 37 runs followed by Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore with 6 points each.
“Hardik played a very good inning, they played really well to get that score. If we had wickets in hand this was chasable I feel. We were almost there in terms of run rate, in the powerplay we had a better run rate actually, But we kept losing wicket, “ said Samson after losing the game.
Pandya powered his side by making 87 runs to take the total to 192 runs, an unachievable target for Rajasthan Royals.
