Happy Birthday Manoj Bajpayee: 5 times the actor proved his acting prowess

Manoj Bajpayee is undoubtedly one of the finest actors in Bollywood and has been delivering extraordinary performances ever since his debut. Today, the versatile actor is celebrating his 53rd birthday. Apart from Hindi cinema, he has also has a successful career in Telugu and Tamil cinema. His signature style and method acting has left the audience speechless time and again. In his nearly three-decade long career, the actor has received numerous accolades. He has been honoured with three national film awards. He has bagged Special Jury National Award (Pinjra), Best Actor Award for (Bhonsle), and Best Supporting Actor(Satya). Bajpayee has also been honoured with Dada Shaeb Phalke award, Padma shree, several Filmfare awards and to name a few.

1. THE FAMILY MAN

The Family Man is an Indian spy thriller streaming television series created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. for streaming service Amazon Prime Video and features Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man secretly working as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC).

2. SATYA 

Satya was released in 1998 and was produced and directed  by Ram Gopal Verma. The film written by Saurabh Shukla and Anurag Kashyap, followed Satya , an immigrant who comes to Mumbai looking for a job, and is drawn into the Mumbai underworld.

3. GANGS OF WASSEYPUR

Released in the year 2012, the crime action film directed by Anurag Kashyap focuses on the Dhanbad coal mafia and the underlying power struggles, politics, and fury amongst three mafia families. Sardar Khan, without a doubt, is one of the darkest characters Bajpayee has ever played. He appeared on the big screen as a lusty, immoral, and criminal character.

4. SHOOL

Shool was released in 1999,directed by Eeshwar Niwas. It portrays the politician-criminal nexus and the criminalization of politics in Bihar and its effect on the life of an honest police officer. It stars Manoj Bajpayee as Inspector Samar Pratap Singh.

5. SATYAGRAH

Bajpayee plays a corrupt, power-hungry politician who is willing to go to any length to achieve his objectives in this dark political thriller. Bajpayee has portrayed the character’s malice to perfection. The film mainly discusses the widespread corruption in the government.
