The new season picks up six months after “The Battle of Starcourt,” with the group separated while also “navigating the complexities of high school.” According to Netflix, “a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.” The footage includes a look at some of the new creatures the gang will face, while teasing a power-less Eleven, Hopper in Russia and a levitating Max. Volume 1 drops May 27, before Volume 2 on July 1.
