New Delhi:

Two-wheeler riders has been disappointed due to the rise in petrol prices in India, so they have electric bikes and electric scooters as a good option. Electric two-wheelers are also being sold a lot in the last few years. In such a situation, popular two-wheeler companies like Hero MotoCorp, Suzuki, Honda and Yamaha are also preparing to launch electric scooters this year.

Along with this, companies like TVS and Ather Energy, which are doing well in the electric two-wheeler segment, will also launch electric scooters with better battery range.

Hero MotoCorp’s first electric scooter

For the past one year, it is being heard that Hero MotoCorp is going to launch a new electric scooter in the market soon. But now news is coming that by Diwali this year, Hero MotoCorp’s first electric scooter can be seen on the roads. It is believed that Hero’s first electric scooter in terms of looks and features as well as battery range can be better than scooters from other companies including Bajaj, TVS, Ather and Ola.

In this regard, Hero MotoCorp had joined hands with Taiwan-based EV maker Gogoro last year and recently Hero MotoCorp has also tied up with Ather Energy.

Upcoming Electric Scooters from Suzuki and Honda

This year Suzuki can bring an electric variant of its popular scooter Burgman. In the past, a glimpse has also been seen during the testing of Suzuki Burgman Electric. At the same time, if media reports are to be believed, Honda can also bring an electric variant of its best selling scooter Activa in the coming time. However, no official statement has been issued regarding this. This year TVS Motor Company can also launch another electric scooter named TVS Creon.

At present, the TVS iQube electric scooter sells well. The focus of all these companies will be on good looks and features as well as better battery range.
