According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 struck 246 km northeast of Kargil, Ladakh at around 6:50 pm on Friday.
“An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred at around 6:50 pm, 246km NNE of Kargil, Ladakh today,” the
National Center for Seismology posted on Twitter.
