CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2022: Tensed about boards? HERE is how to ‘de-stress’

New Delhi:

CBSE Board Class 10 Term 2 exam is going to start on April 26, 2022. The date sheet for both the classes 10 and 12 has been released and students are gearing up for their preparation. So now is not the time to worry, but to think and be reminded how prepared you are and where you have fallen behind.

CBSE board students are advised not to take any kind of stress at this time, here are some tips which will help the students to score 90% marks in the subjects. Check out the resources below.

Step 1: Ensure physical and mental health

We can achieve physical and mental fitness by following a healthy diet, proper sleep schedule, listening to music for positive energy and a fresh mind and meditation to reduce stress. Believe it or not, eating dark chocolate containing more than 70% cocoa fights the exam stress hormone cortisol and has an overall relaxing effect on the body. Plus, chocolate releases endorphins that act as a natural stress fighter.

Step 2: Manage your time smartly

You need to prepare and follow a timetable as it helps in effective time management. You should have a peaceful environment and avoid distractions. It is also important to take breaks in between when you feel tired or bored. Plan how much time should be given to a subject based on its syllabus and difficulty.

Step 3: Study the textbooks thoroughly

Make sure you are well versed with each and every concept and topic in your NCERT textbook as the material they contain forms the basis for not only board exams but also competitive exams like JEE. Always follow mind maps and maintain running notes for quick revision or a last-minute overall glimpse. Do not ignore diagrams, tables or graphs as questions can be asked from any section, especially for Term-2 paper.

Step 4: Solve more questions through a question bank

Solving some standard sample papers will boost your confidence in your board. Which will help in improving your speed and accuracy. You will also be able to understand the time limit, what kind of questions will be expected in the exam and prepare accordingly. Work on your weak areas. With regular practice their mistakes are reduced and they solve the questions to get the correct answers.
