Aryan Khan's web show in development, to go on floors soon - know more

New Delhi:

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been working on multiple projects, as reported earlier. The star kid, who has been studying filmmaking, does not intend to be an actor. He, in fact, is interested in writing, and has been developing a web show with his father’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment. According to a Pinkvilla report, Aryan Khan has taken a step further as he recently did a test shoot for the web show at a studio in Mumbai.

“Besides writing the project, Aryan will also be directing it. He had taken complete charge at the test shoot that took place on Friday and Saturday. As a part of his and the crew’s prep, Aryan wanted to bring everyone together and understand the project before they actually start shooting for it. He is very passionate about this yet untitled show, and has already begun work on the pre-production. They will finalise the actual shooting dates soon,” a source close to the development told Pinkvilla.

Earlier, Pinkvilla had reported that Aryan has been working on multiple ideas, which have the potential of being developed into feature films and web series.

“Of all the ideas in development, the two in the forefront is a web-series for Amazon Prime and a feature film to be bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment. The Amazon Prime series is said to be about the life of a die-hard fan with some elements of thrill, however, the details of feature films are not known yet. If everything proceeds at the right pace, there’s a strong possibility of the show being greenlit by the platform this year itself,” a source had told the publication.

The report had further added that scripts are currently in the development stage and will go on floors once they meet all the check boxes. Aryan has also joined Red Chillies writer board and has been working on several project.. The source added that Aryan is working on these subjects with Bilal Siddiqi as his co-writer.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana is set to foray into the acting space with Zoya Akhtar directed web-series for Netflix, which is based on Archie Comics.
