Apple has increased the prices of some of its popular products in India including AirPods Pro, AirPods (3rd generation) and AirPods Max. After the price correction, now many of the company’s products have become expensive by up to 10%. Customers can check the new prices on Apple’s official website. For example, the price of Apple AirPods Pro has been increased by Rs 1,400.
The tech company has increased the price of AirPods (3rd generation) by up to Rs 2,000. At the same time, the rate of AirPods Max has been increased by Rs 6,200.
Let us tell you that after this correction in prices, Apple AirPods Pro is now selling for Rs 26,300 on the Apple India website. Earlier, the device was selling for Rs 24,900.
Also, the price of AirPods (3rd generation) has been increased from Rs 18,500 to Rs 20,500. Apart from this, AirPods Max is selling at a price of Rs 59,900 to Rs 66,100 on the company’s official website.
As of now, Apple has not provided any explanation on why the company has increased the prices of audio devices. However, according to media reports, the company has increased the rates keeping in mind the increasing customs duty.
Custom duty is imposed indirectly by the Government of India on products imported from other countries. Currently, the products that Apple makes locally in India include the iPhone 12, iPhone 11 and iPhone SE. According to reports, Apple is planning to make the Apple iPhone 13 smartphone in the country in the coming weeks.
