Photos from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s dreamy wedding continue to make their way online. A few more pictures from the Big Day has been shared by Karisma Kapoor wherein she revealed that Alia’s ‘kaleera’ fell on her. For the unversed, in the ‘kaleera’ ritual at a traditional Punjabi wedding, the bride’s sisters and friends tie the ornaments on her wrist.. After the ceremony, the bride tries to drop a ‘kaleera’ on the heads of her bridesmaids. The one, on whom the kaleera fells, is expected to be the next in line to get married.
Karisma wrote, “Instagram VS Reality. The Kaleera fell on me guys!” She shared two pics from the Kaleera ceremony. In one of the pics, she is seen posing with the ornament gracefully, while in another she can’t seem to contain her excitement. Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani can be seen cheering for Karisma whereas Alia’s bestfriend Anushka Ranjan pouts as she is unable to catch ‘kaleera’.
Riddhima Kapoor commented on her post, “Best” with multiple red heart emojis. Manish Malhotra was also all hearts for her. Meanwhile, after witnessing Karisma’s excitement, a few fans wondered if she is ready to get married again. “Lolo your next 🤗 I told youuuuu,” wrote Karisma’s fashion designer. Another fan quipped, “Shadi krlo ap bhi ab.”
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14 in the presence of family and friends at latter’s Bungalow, Vastu. Alia took to Instagram to share her wedding pictures with a heartfelt note that read, “
