Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are celebrating their 15th Wedding Anniversary today. The couple got married in 2007 and have a daughter together, Aaradhya. Aishwarya and Abhishek’s wedding was organised at Big B’s bungalow in Mumbai.
The beautiful couple of Bollywood tied the knot on 20th April, today the couple is celebrating their 15th anniversary. Their love story is no less than any filmy Bollywood movie.
Abhishek and Aishwarya worked together in films ‘Kuch Na Kaho’, ‘Umraojaan’ but their love story started on the sets of ‘Guru.’
On the premiere of the film in Toronto, Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya. In an interview, Aishwarya told that Abhishek proposed her in such a lovely way that she couldn’t deny.
After returning from Toronto they had an intimate Roka ceremony. In one of the interviews, Aishwarya spoke about her sudden engagement with Abhishek Bachchan in 2007. She said that, “He proposed me which was amazing! And it happened like really suddenly.” She said after returning, she received a call from Abhishek informing her that he is coming with his family for Roka ceremony.
“I was literally scared and refused, that Roka is not possible because my father is out of town but he didn’t listen to me as they were on their way,” she added.
She also stated that belonging to a South Indian family “I didn’t know what is ‘Roka’.”
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been together for 15 years now and have a beautiful daughter Aaradhya.
