Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in the Indian market. It is believed that the company can launch it on April 15. Its pre-booking has begun. Customers can prebook it through the company’s website or through the Maruti Suzuki Arena dealership. For this, customers will have to pay a token amount of Rs 11,000. Let us tell you that Maruti is going to launch the updated model of its two cars this month, where the new XL6 facelift can be launched on April 21.
In how many trims will it be launched?
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift will arrive in the Indian market with 4 trims. These will include the LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+. The VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ trims will get an option 6-speed automatic transmission, a
ccording to leaked reports.
How many variants will the CNG model come with?
The CNG model of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was earlier available only in the VXI trim. However, in the Ertiga facelift, customers will get the option of CNG in the VXI as well as the ZXI variant.
New engine to be available in 2022 Maruti Ertiga
In the new Ertiga facelift, customers will get a new 1.5-litre K15C DualJet petrol engine instead of the K15B engine. If reports are to be believed, the same engine will be available in the upcoming new Brezza and XL6. According to reports, the 1.5-litre K15C DualJet petrol engine will generate a maximum power of 115bhp, which will be 10bhp more than the current K15B engine. The same power train will be found in Ertiga’s CNG car. However, CNG will get less power and torque than petrol.
Price
It is believed that Maruti can launch its new Ertiga facelift at a price of Rs 8.4 lakh, which will go up to Rs 11.4 lakh.
