2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament:
In the fifth match of the 2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022 held at the Ground of Club Ducy XI, Greater Noida West, today (April 21). There was a clash between Eklavyaa Cricket Club and Ducy XI.
Eklavya Cricket Club defeated Doosy Eleven by 5 wickets in a one-sided match. In this way, Eklavya Cricket Club has reached the top of the points table of this tournament by winning its first two matches.
In the fifth match, Eklavya Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bowl first. After losing the toss, the batsmen of Dusi XI opted to bat first. The entire team of Doosy XI could make only 147 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 40 overs.
The comparatively easy target of 148 runs was achieved by Eklavya Cricket Club by losing 5 wickets in the 24th over. Honey Baisala of Eklavya Cricket Club was awarded the Man of the Match award for his all-round performance. While Mahi got the title of Fighter of the Match for his brilliant bowling of Doosy XI.
After losing the toss, the batsmen of Ducy XI came out to bat first. For Doosy Eleven, Sarthak Chaturvedi scored 24, Satyam Anand scored 23, Mit Kumar scored 19 and Ishan Pandey scored 17 runs. On the other hand, Kunal Nagar and Devansh took two wickets each for Kalvya Cricket Club. While Honey Baisla, Abdullah Khan and Aarav Nagar took one wicket each.
For the Eklavya Cricket Club, Vishal scored an unbeaten 50 off 63 balls with the help of 7 fours. While Mohammad Kaif contributed 29 and Honey Baisla contributed 25 runs. On the other hand, Mahi made 3, Abhishek Yadav and Aditya Singh showed the way to the pavilion for each of the Eklavya Cricket Club batsmen.
The second Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament Under 16 (2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament Under 16) is being organized at the Ground of Club Ducy XI, Greater Noida West, Greater Noida West. This tournament is being organized under the supervision of cricket coach Dushyant Sharma.
A total of 10 teams from Delhi-NCR are participating in the second Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022 (2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022). In this 40-over tournament, all the ten teams are divided into two groups – Group A and Group B. Leak matches are being played in the first phase of the match. In which each team will get a chance to play the first four matches. After that the semi-finals and then the final match will be played.
