In the second match of 2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022 on April
14
between Eklavya Cricket Club and Delhi World Public School, the former won by eight wickets.
In the second match, Delhi World Public School won the toss and elected to bat first. After winning the toss, opting to bat first, the batsmen of Delhi World Public School could not do much.
In this match of 40 overs, the entire team was all out scoring just 105 runs in the 21st over. Chasing the target of 106 runs, Eklavya Cricket Club achieved the target in the 14th over by losing 2 wickets. Abdullah Khan of Eklavya Cricket Club got the man of the match and Himanshu of World Public School got the title of Fighter of the Match.
Electing to bat after winning the toss, Delhi World Public School (DWPS) scored 38 runs off 51 balls with the help of 6 fours, while Raj Singh contributed 24 runs off 35 balls. On behalf of Eklavya Cricket Club, Abdullah Khan took 5 wickets for 37 runs in 6 overs while Devansh took two wickets giving 15 runs in 2 overs.
While chasing the target of 106 runs, Vishal scored an unbeaten 36 off 41 balls with the help of 6 fours from Eklavya Cricket Club. On the other hand, Mohammad Kaif scored 20 runs in 26 balls with the help of 3 fours. Whereas Himanshu and Kunal showed the way to the pavilion for the batsmen of Eklavya Cricket Club towards Delhi World Public School.
The second Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament Under 16 (2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament Under 16) is being organized at the Ground of Club Ducy XI, Greater Noida West, Greater Noida West. This tournament is being organized under the supervision of cricket coach Dushyant Sharma.
A total of 10 teams from Delhi-NCR are participating in the second Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022 (2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022). In this 40-over tournament, all the ten teams are divided into two groups – Group A and Group B. Leak matches are being played in the first phase of the match. In which each team will get a chance to play the first four matches. After that the semi-finals and then the final match will be played.
