Jailed for treason

The Uttar Pradesh government in November last year terminated the services of Dr. Khan, a pediatrician at the Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College in Gorakhpur, where several children died due to lack of oxygen in August 2017. Earlier, he was arrested for giving a speech at an anti-CAA meeting and has been in jail for a long time.
