Russia Ukraine War: Will not let even an inch of land go, says Ukrainian minister

Kyiv:

Today is the fifth day of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Despite all the criticism at the international level, Russia is still not ready to back down from its military campaign against Ukraine.

Russia is constantly bombing Ukrainian military bases and residential areas.

However, both countries have indicated that they are ready for talks in this regard. But so far no concrete steps have been taken in this direction.

However, despite being no match for Russia’s military might, Ukraine is still trying its best to fight the Russian Juggernaut.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba has given a big statement. He said that not even an inch of the country’s land would be given to Russia.

Addressing an online press conference, Dimitro Kuleba said, “we will not surrender at any cost. We want peace through dialogue. We will not let even an inch of our land go.”

He said that even though Russia has attacked Ukraine with full force, Russia has not been able to achieve any strategic-goal. He said that this is the reason why Russia has agreed to talks with Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Kuleba further said that Russia may have launched an all-out attack on Ukraine with tanks, cannons and cruise missiles, but Russia has achieved nothing in the last four days of fighting.

“Russia has so far failed to capture any of the main cities. The capital Kyiv was also attacked, but the Ukrainian army is fighting fiercely. Such attacks were carried out by Hitler in World War II as Russia is doing today under the leadership of Putin,” he said.

Foreign Minister Kuleba’s statement comes at a time when President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine is ready to hold talks with Russia, but has refused to choose Belarus as the venue for it. Zelensky said that Moscow was using Belarus as a launchpad for its invasion.
