Former President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday said that a broader alliance led by the SLFP will be formed with the aim of changing the Government.
He said that this alliance will present a wider national programme and hoped that all will join in this alliance.
“The Next Government will be formed with those who join with this national programme,” the former President said.
The former President added that the SLFP will be built as a formidable political force within the next few months. He was speaking to the media after opening a media centre at the SLFP Headquarters yesterday. He said that his party is against the postponement of elections.
