today. On the other hand, light sunshine has come out in many areas in the national capital Delhi.

There has been snowfall in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh also. Rain was also recorded in some parts of Punjab and Haryana. Depending on the weather, light to heavy snowfall is expected in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. This will bring down the temperature which will start the chilling winter.

On the other hand, Cyclone Jawad will weaken and gradually move towards North and North-East towards the West Bengal coast. This has started light to moderate rains in North and South 24 Parganas, Kolkata, Howrah and East and West Medinipur districts.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rains are forecast in coastal areas of South-24 Parganas and East Medinipur districts and various parts of southern West Bengal including parts of East Vardhman. In view of this, the administration has asked tourists not to go to the coastal areas.
