Thehan Wijemanne and Chathurya Nilaweera produced a fine performance to clinch the Men’s Doubles title at the 106th Colombo Open Tennis Tournament at the SLTA Courts in Green Path yesterday.
The favourites rallied around magnificently and went on to beat the pair of Kaveesha Ratnayake and Rostom Ali in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.
Meanwhile, Savini Jayasuriya and Janali Manamperi won the Women’s Doubles title when they defeated Anjalika Kurera and Oneli Perera 1-6, 6-2, 10-8 in the final encounter.
