London:
Chelsea was stunningly defeated by West Ham United in London stadium as Arthur Masuaku hit his first Premier League goal to take his team for the win.
West Ham, who also scored three times against Liverpool last month, turned this match around after trailing twice to Chelsea, who also conceded more than once for the first time this season.
Thiago Silva
scored with a header from a
Mason Mount
corner after 28 minutes but West Ham leveled 12 minutes later when Edouard Mendy brought down Jarrod Bowen.
Chelsea made their way back in the game at half-time but could not stay for long as West Ham came from behind to take on the champions.
Masuaku turned the game West Ham’s way in the 87th minute when he caught out Mendy with what looked like a cross, but the ball flew into the top corner at the near post.
The win ensures the Hammers will remain in the top four whatever happens elsewhere in the Premier League this weekend.
