the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus. This is b

Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus
is expected to reach the big cities of India with only mild symptoms.
This has been claimed by a former chief of the CSIR Institute. A health expert believes that the new Covid-19 variant Omicron can be fought with the ongoing coronavirus vaccination in India.
Talking to news agency ANI, the director of Tata Institute for Genetics and Society, Dr. Talking about the effectiveness of hybrid immunity, Rakesh Mishra said, “The results show that hybrid immunity will be helpful in fighting the new Covid-19 variant.”
Dr Mishra further said that the Delta variant was extremely dangerous at a time when India was facing the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year.
Now the Omicron from South Korea is even more contagious than the Delta variant. However, the relief is that the virus will reach major cities with mild symptoms which is a very good sign.

The number of cases of
the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus
has increased to four in India. On Saturday, one person each in Maharashtra and Gujarat was confirmed to be infected with this new variant of coronavirus.
A 72-year-old man has been found infected with Omicron in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The man had reached Jamnagar on November 28 from Zimbabwe. Gujarat Health Commissioner Jai Prakash Shivahare has confirmed that the person has been infected with
the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus.
