Ola Electric started deliveries of its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters earlier this month on December 16, after a delay of nearly four months from their August 15 launch. The EV manufacturer organized special events to deliver the scooter to the first 100 customers in Bengaluru and Chennai.

Priority delivery is based on an automated scientific approach to meet the overwhelming booking and purchase response from customers across the country. Which decides the delivery handover according to their purchase date, variant, location, color and other factors. The company has rolled out the Ola S1 scooter from its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu.

Ola Electric, which was launched almost four months ago on August 15, had booked two days for the scooters in September. After which the company claimed to have a staggering Rs 1,100 crore business.

How much is the price

The Ola electric scooter is available in S1 and S1 Pro trims. While the S1 variant of the Ola electric scooter costs Rs 1 lakh, the S1 Pro variant costs Rs 1.30 lakh. This price is ex-showroom and before state subsidy. The price of this electric scooter will also vary depending on the subsidy given in different states of the country for electric vehicles.
