Maharashtra waives late fees for Classes 10, 12 for submitting form day before exam

Mumbai:

Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad on Thursday allowed the students of class 10 and class 12 to submit the examination form even a day prior to examination without paying any late fee.

The minister said that the complete exemption is being given to the students so no students miss out due to the technical difficulties.

“I announced the waiver while responding to a calling to attention notice in the legislative council. Without paying any extra fees, students of std 12th will be able to submit exam form till March 3, and Standard 10th till March 14” tweeted Gaikwad.

Further, she said, “So far 14,31, 667 HSC students and 15,56,861 SSC students have enrolled for the exams. I’ve also assured the august house that special efforts will be made to ensure that those yet to do so fill up these forms at the earliest.”

However, the minister announced the examination date sheet last week. According to the exam schedule, HSC oral exams are scheduled from February 14 – March 3 and written exams will take place from March 4 – April 7, 2022. The examination of SSC oral will conduct from February 24- March 14 while, written exams will start from March 15 and continue till April 18, 2022.
