Katrina Kaif announces new film 'Merry Christmas', shares pic with Vijay Sethupathi and others

Katrina Kaif is marking new beginnings after getting married to beau Vicky Kaushal. The actor on Saturday announced her new film ‘Merry Christmas’. The actor shared a picture with the film’s team on Instagram along with the announcement.

She wrote, “New Beginnings. Back on set with director Sriram Raghavan’s for Merry Christmas! I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir. He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honour to be directed by him. Super excited to be teaming up with @actorvijaysethupathi for this one produced by @rameshtaurani & @sanjayroutraymatchbox @tips @tipsfilmsofficial @matchboxpix.”

The film will be headlined by Vijay Sethupathi and will be directed by Sriram Raghavan of Andhadhun. 

After tying the knot earlier this month, Katrina has been sharing pictures from her wedding festivities on Instagram. Recently, she had earlier shared a picture of the view from their balcony on Instagram Stories and captioned it, “Home”. The picture showed Katrina and Vicky holding hands while enjoying the view.

Meanwhile, Vicky who had earlier jetted off for work earlier this week has arrived back at the bay, just in time to celebrate his first festival with wife. 

The actor was spotted at the airport looking all stylish in shades of blue, green, and white. He teamed his hoodie with a pair of blue jeans, white sneakers, and a brown leather bag. 

On the work front, Vicky has a number of projects lined up for the year, including Sam Bahadur and Govinda Mera Naam. 

Coming back to Katrina, the actor will shoot for Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3 in the first quarter of coming year. She will also be seen in Farhan Khan directorial Jee Le Zaraa alongside Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra. 

Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in Six Senses Fort Barwana in Rajasthan. Announcing their wedding, the couple had shared identical statements that read:
