Hero Optima: Runs 122km on single charge, affordable & convenient

New Delhi:

The Government of India is making constant efforts to bring electric vehicles in the main trend in India. But the biggest challenge to this target is the cost of electric vehicles, which are much higher than those that run on conventional fuel. To deal with this difficulty, the Government of India had made an important announcement in the past.

Significantly, with a view to faster adoption and manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in India, the Center has decided to reduce the burden on EV manufacturers by increasing the subsidy on electric two-wheelers. According to a notification issued by the Department of Heavy Industries on Friday, the subsidy for electric two-wheelers has been increased to ₹15,000 per KWh, which is ₹5,000 per KWh more than the earlier subsidy rate.

After this announcement of the government, companies like Ather, TVS, Okinawa have drastically reduced the prices of their electric scooters. Hero Motors has also joined this list. It is worth noting that Hero has slashed the prices of its Optima HX range of electric scooters in view of the revised FAME II subsidy.

If you wish, you can go to the company’s official website and book the Optima HX single battery version by paying a token amount of Rs 2,999.

Apart from this, the price of Hero Optima dual-battery version has also been cut. The company has reduced the price of this powerful scooter from 74,660 to 58,980. First 15,680 less. It is culminating in a total distance of 122 km to complete once.

Some of the key features of the Optima range scooter include apron-mounted turn indicators, a USB port, a digital instrument cluster, 12-inch alloy wheels, a remote lock, an LED headlight and an anti-theft alarm.
