#Ashes: Former England Captain Peitersen advices Root to 'play without fear'

England has been struggling in Australia as they lost both the games while on tour and the huge margin defeated in definitely denting the confidence of Englishmen as the visitors gear up to lock horns in the boxing day test.

Joe Root-led England lost Australia by 275 runs in the recently concluded second test in Adelaide and faced the defeat in the first game by 9 wickets in Gabba. 

Former England Captain has shared advice and the winning mantra for English skipper Joe Root to be aggressive against the hosts and playing fearless can help them mark win against the now dominating Australia. 

 “Can I just say, that to beat Australia, you have to be aggressive, play without fear & not stand down in any situation. In ‘05 we were told to go out and smack the bowlers. I’m hearing ENG players are talking about not leaving the ball well enough! 🤮 #Ashes” Pietersen wrote on Twitter.

England will square-off with Australia in boxing day test in Melbourne with Joe Root leading the visitors. This will be a do-or-die match for England in order to keep the series win hopes alive.
