T20 WC: Kiwis lose early wicket, Mitchell departs for 11

Dubai:

New Zealand is taken aback by surprise as the star opener Daryl Mitchell departs early in the final of T20 World Cup against Trans-Tasman rival Australia.

Guptill and Mitchell gave many moments of cheers to the audience as they hit boundaries one after another.

Mitchell hit the six in the early over to contribute a total 11 runs in eight deliveries before giving the ball in the wicketkeeper Wade’s hands after 3.5 overs.

Kane Williamson is on the crease with the opener Martin Guptill, ready to captain the ship of kiwis in the final waters.

Aaron Finch had won the toss and chose to field. Australia has won every game in which the skipper won the coin flip, the only toss Finch lost was against England which did not end up in a game win for Australia.

The final is what matters and this is what Australia and New Zealand will try to mark their maiden World Cup crowning.

The Trans-Tasman rivals have never won the T20I crown; little apt to think about it, Kiwis skipper Kane Williamson is excited for both the teams who are playing in the Dubai, World Cup Final, from the other side of the world.
