Steps have been taken to close the Colombo-Kandy main road at Kadugannawa and Hingulu due to the risk of landslides due to heavy rains, Kandy SSP Chamil Ratnayake said.
Accordingly, the public is advised to use alternative routes for vehicles traveling on the Kandy-Colombo road.
