The Attorney General has approved the move to make the vaccination card mandatory for the general public when entering public places, Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said today.
Addressing Parliament he noted that the AG had informed him today that there was no legal barrier to prevent the vaccination card being made mandatory.
Rambukwella said he hopes to take necessary legal steps in this regard.
