Measures will be taken to provide relief to the people affected by adverse weather

 Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (10) informed the Parliament that immediate measures will be taken to provide relief to those who are affected by the adverse weather conditions prevailing in the country.
 
The Prime Minister also informed the Speaker of the House that a report on this regard will be submitted to Parliament by the State Minister of National Security & Disaster Management Chamal Rajapaksa before long.
 
Prime Minister Rajapaksa requested all government and opposition members of parliament to assist the government in providing relief to the people affected by the floods and inclement weather. The Prime Minister also expressed his condolences to the families affected by the floods.
