Emirates unveils more “Early Bird” fares in Colombo starting at just Rs 59,300

As restrictions continue to ease regionally and globally, Emirates is inviting Sri Lankans to be the “early birds” in fulfilling their long-suppressed yearnings to travel, with another special fare promotion exclusive to the island’s residents.

Applicable for tickets purchased between 9th and 21st November, these special fares will be valid for travel to 120 destinations on the Emirates network, anytime between 1st December 2021 and 31st March 2022, the award-winning airline said.

Covering Economy and Business Class travel, these special all-inclusive fares start at US$ 292 (just Rs 59,300 at current rates of exchange) on Economy Class to Dubai, US$ 607 (approximately Rs 123,300) to Paris, US$ 586 (about Rs 119,000) to Milan, US$ 601 (about Rs 122,100) to Rome and US$ 802 (about Rs 162,900) to London. All fares in Rupees are subject to the rate of exchange on the day of purchase.

Business Class fares to these destinations start at US$ 1217 (approximately Rs 247,300) to Dubai, US$ 1,968 (about Rs 399,900) to London, US$ 2271 (about Rs 461,400) to Rome, US$ 2283 (Rs 463,900) to Paris and US$ 2609 (Rs 530,100) to Milan.

Emirates flights can be booked at www.emirates.com, via travel agents or the Emirates Sales Office in Colombo.

The special fares present the ideal holiday opportunity to fully-vaccinated travellers who have been waiting to reunite with family and friends around the world, or to leisure seekers that simply want to explore new destinations, the airline said.

Travel during the period covered by the special fares also enables travellers to take a break in Dubai of up to 21 days en-route to enjoy what Dubai has to offer, including a visit to the must-see EXPO 2020 exhibition. Emirates customers visiting and travelling through Dubai anytime during this mega global event are eligible to receive a free Emirates Expo Day Pass for every flight ticket booked with the airline.
