SLBC official broadcaster for T20 WC

The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) will be the official broadcaster for the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup from October 17 to November 14 in Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

Former Sri Lanka cricket captain Aravinda de Silva was the chief guest at the launching ceremony held at the Kumaranatunge Studio of SLBC on Wednesday.

The SLBC will relay the cricket commentaries through their FM channels 89.8, 90.1, 97.4, 102.7, 104.7, 107.3 and 107.5 from Colombo.

The special invitees at the ceremony were former Sri Lankan opening batsman and wicket-Keeper Brendon Kuruppu, Vice-President Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Ravin Wickramaratne, Chairman SLBC Hudson Samarasinghe and Director General SLBC Chandrapala Liyanage
