The ‘Sacred Pinnacle’ and the ‘Crest-Gem’ of Sandahiru Stupa will arrive at Anuradhapura Sandahiru Stupa sacred site today (Oct 23) after completing its island wide exposition for public veneration.
The procession carrying the revered Stupa articles left Madukanda Dalada Viharaya today morning (Oct 23) amidst religious blessings and will reach the day’s destination, Anuradhapura Sandahiru Stupa sacred site while passing Vavuniya, Medawachchiya and Rambewa Junction.
The parading of revered articles would be presided over bybVen. Maha Sanga amidst religious blessings throughout the exposition.
Police Divisions of the respective areas will control the traffic and strict healthcare measures will be in place during the programme.
