After Supreme Court’s clearance, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare NEET result 2021 soon at neet.nta.nic.in. The undergraduate medical entrance exam was conducted in September. As many as 16 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam this year.
Candidates who appeared in the entrance exam will get their scorecards by logging in with roll number and password. A list of top 50 rank holders will be published along with NEET 2021 result
Earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Court stayed the Bombay High Court’s order to reconduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for two candidates. The two students had highlighted in the Bombay HC that their OMR sheet fell and got mixed while invigilator was distributing them.
Appearing for Centre, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had pleaded that the issue raised by the students must be rectified, but putting future of lakh of students on hold does not make any sense.
Quashing Bombay HC’s stay, the apex court then ruled that the issue raised by the two students before the High Court can be examined, but the results of 16 lakh students cannot be withheld due to that.
Coming back to NEET-UG Result 2021, candidates can check their medical entrance result and download the scorecard using their credentials like registration details, date of birth as and when it is declared.
