The rising prices of petrol and diesel have broken the back of the common Indian. As a result, the major automakers of the country are increasingly engaged in manufacturing electric vehicles. There has been a tremendous increase in the demand for electric vehicles, especially in the two-wheeler segment.
In line with this, Hyderabad-based Dao EV Tech is planning to enter the country’s electric vehicles (EV) next year with the Dao 703 high-speed electric scooter.
Dao 703 can be launched in India in January 2022.
The price of this scooter is being said to be Rs 1.2 lakh, but after EV subsidy, the price of the scooter can be around Rs 86,000.Let us tell you that the booking of Dao 703 has started in India. But the delivery of this scooter will start from January next year.
Dao EV Tech is planning to start operations with 20 dealers in South India in the first phase. But according to the information, the company is working on a plan to create more than 300 outlets across the country in the next one and a half years.In terms of performance, the Dao 703 gets a 72 V LFP Li-ion battery unit along with a 72 V BLDC motor.
The setup offers a range of up to 100 km with 3500 W power output and is capable of achieving a maximum speed of 70 km/h. Some of its key features include LED headlight, LED turn signal, LED tail light, digital instrument cluster, etc.
