Anup Mishra, was thrashed badly in Bihar’s Siwan for creating ruckus outside a polling station during panchayat election. At present, he has been arrested but is admitted to the hospital after he sustained multiple in the modus operandi.
A video of the incident is making rounds on social media wherein two police personnel are seen beating Anup Mishra. The incident has, once again, raised question on law and order maintainance in the state.
The incident took place at Pakpi Panchayat where on October 8, Anoop Mishra had reached the booth on the news of his rival Prabhunath Yadav casting vogus votes in booth number 173 Sheikhpurwa. He, along with other candidates, talked about canceling the poll with the Provisioning Officer. According to the allegation, he asked the officer for a form to cancel the polling at the booth but he was not given the form.
