The Appropriation Bill for the financial year 2022 is due to be presented to Parliament by the Minister of Finance on the last day of the next Parliamentary week which is scheduled from 04th October to 08th October.
The relevant gazette notification was issued last Wednesday (29th) and it contains information regarding Government Expenditure for the year 2022.
Leader of the House, Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena informed the Committee on Parliamentary Business which met at the Parliament Complex on Thursday (30) that the Appropriation Bill for the year 2022 will be presented to Parliament next week.
