Taliban requests India to resume commercial flights to Kabul

Kabul:

It has been almost a month and a half since the Taliban took over Afghanistan and forced the democratically elected Afghan government to flee. So far, commercial flights have not been fully started at Kabul airport.

Pakistan first to resume flights to Kabul

Earlier, the first international commercial flight landed at Kabul airport for the first time almost a month after the Taliban took over Afghanistan. A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane carrying a handful of passengers landed at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul.

International flights were suspended only after the Taliban took over Afghanistan on August 15.
