Story of 79-year-old Panjshir fighter who took up arms against Taliban will shock you

Kabul:

The story of 79-year-old Baba Aslam, who took up arms on behalf of the Northern Alliance, which is fighting the Taliban in the Panjshir region of Afghanistan, is very interesting. Bab Aslam is not fighting for the first time. Even before this he had fought against the Soviet Union. He was young then.

The story of Baba Aslam has been shared by the Twitter handle of the Northern Alliance. It is said that he had fought against the Taliban even in the 1990s. After this 20 years of life were happily spent in Panjshir.

Earlier he had joined the Mujahideen when he was young and had fought against the Soviet Union. Today again, 79-year-old Baba Aslam has taken up arms to respond to the Taliban attack on Panjshir.

“I believe in freedom so I fight at any age,” he said.

Significantly, the Northern Alliance has claimed that the last two nights have proved to be very bad for the Taliban fighting in Panjshir. It has said that 350 Taliban fighters have been killed in the fighting, while around 40 have been captured.

In the fighting, Panjshir fighters have snatched away many US military vehicles, arms and ammunition from the Taliban.

Even though Taliban has captured almost the whole of Afghanistan and ousted the Afghan government from Kabul, it is still not able to enter Panjshir. Taliban fighters are trying hard to attack Panjshir, but they are defeated every time.
