“In this meeting, we will discuss issues related to technology, economic cooperation and trade, as well as Afghanistan,” he added.

Earlier, PM Modi’s meeting with US Vice President Kamala Harris has been very encouraging in terms of bilateral relations. During the meeting, Kamala Harris mentioned Pakistan’s role in terrorism and called on it to take action against terrorist organizations.

Indian Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Sringala said that US Vice President Kamala Harris had asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ask Pakistan to take action on terrorism so that terrorist organizations do not target India or the US.

Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Sringala said that the US agreed with the Prime Minister’s briefing on the facts of cross-border terrorism. US Vice President Kamala Harris also agrees with the fact that India has been a victim of terrorism for decades.

The US government believes that Pakistan’s support on the issue of terrorism needs to be curbed as well as closely monitored. Kamala Harris has called for further strengthening of bilateral security cooperation to tackle a range of challenges, including terrorism and cybercrime.
