Easter attacks case: Bathiudeen, others further remanded

SJB Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen, Attorney-at-Law Hijaz Hizbullah, Madrasa School Principal Mohammad Zakir and several other suspects currently in remand in connection with the Easter Sunday Terror Attacks were ordered to be further remanded till 7th September yesterday.

The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court issued the order when the case was heard yesterday.

The former Minister Bathiudeen and his brother Riyadh Bathiudeen were arrested in April in connection with the attacks.

They were arrested over allegations of aiding and abetting the suicide bombers responsible for the 2019 attacks.
