Actor Priyanka Chopra has shared pictures from the sets of her upcoming Amazon Prime Video series Citadel. Taking to Instagram Thursday, Priyanka shared pictures in costume as her character, after a ‘messy day’ of the shoot. Priyanka has been in London since last year to shoot for Russo Brothers’ Citadel, also featuring Richard Madden and Pedro Leandro, in the lead roles. The pictures shared by Priyanka show her face with mud smeared on it as she poses for a sunkissed selfie. Captioning the post, she wrote, “Messy day at work. Can’t wait for you to meet her! #Citadel.” Reacting to her post, ‘Never Have I Ever’ creator Mindy Kaling commented, “You could say this was a new makeup trend and I would literally put mud on my face.”
Priyanka also shared a glimpse of her look on Instagram stories wherein she was seen playing dead. She had donned the same outfit with parts of her face covered with mud. “Switching to my EOD Mood,” she captioned the picture along with a green tick emoji and #Citadel.
Earlier, some pictures from the Citadel also went viral on the internet. In the viral pics, Priyanka was seen sporting the same black outfit. Going by the pics shared on the internet, it seems like we are in for some intense action.
Set to stream on Amazon Prime Video, Citadel will spawn a franchise. The multi-series is expected to premiere next year.
