On the initiative by Sri Lankan Ambassador to Japan, Sanjiwa Gunasekera, two leading Japanese companies donated a consignment of 100,000 surgical masks to Sri Lanka. These surgical masks were handed over to the Ambassador by Agekawa, Chairman of Devent, and Mr. Goto, Chief Executive Officer of A Holdings.
The consignment of surgical masks will be dispatched to Sri Lanka by SriLankan Airlines flight scheduled to arrive in Colombo on Saturday. The surgical masks will be handed over to Minister of Youth and Sports, Minister of Development Co-ordination and Monitoring and State Minister of Digital Technology and Enterprise Development, Namal Rajapaksa.
