Senior citizens who had not yet been vaccinated in the Jaffna District are now being jabbed in their own homes by mobile units deployed by the Army. Twenty-four such units have been deployed.
The launch of the initiative in Jaffna was held with the participation of Jaffna Security Forces Commander Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku, Director of the Jaffna Teaching Hospital Dr. Sri Bawanandarajah, and Jaffna Mayor Wishwalingam Maniwannan.
